AGASSIZ CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
CURRICULUM STATEMENT
The curriculum of Agassiz Christian School reflects a Christ-centered world-and-life view as outlined in the SCSBC core curriculum documents and framework for Christian schooling, and meets the prescribed learning requirements of the core curriculum as prescribed by the Ministry of Education of BC.
The Education Comittee, established by the Board of Directors, supervises the education program. The Education Committee advises the Board about the Christian direction and the quality of the school's staff and curriculum. It supports the administration in establishing a learning community where staff, students and parents can develop their insights and skills in a atmosphere that strives to reflect Christ's love for His people through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

1. understand that God is sovereign
2. recognize that the world belongs to God
3. recognize the nature of God
4. understand the Creation, Fall, Redemption theme through all their units of study
5. recognize the necessity and impact of prayer
6. recognize that the Bible is relevant for all of life
7. appreciate themselves as unique creations of God
8. see God’s hand working in all aspects of their lives
9. grow in responsibilities of stewardship, compassion, justice, and service
10. worship God through all aspects of living
11. make choices reflective of God’s character and standards
12. be Christ-like while working and playing together
13. recognize that a relationship with God comes through faith in the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
