Agassiz Christian School seeks to honour God as Creator, Redeemer, and Enabler. We strive to provide a quality education that is based on the Word of God. Our aim is to help each student discover and develop his/her God-given gifts so that they may honour God by serving Him, loving each other, and being stewards of His creation.

  1. To provide a quality education from a Christian perspective that teaches students about God’s world and how we interact within it.
1.1   to provide a staff of qualified, committed Christian teachers
1.2   to provide Christian professional resource materials for staff and students
1.3   to provide a curriculum with a Biblical perspective that integrates faith, learning and living.
 
  1. To create a learning environment that respects and encourages each student’s abilities and is sensitive to their needs.
2.1    to maintain a welcoming supportive atmosphere in the school and in the classroom where all students feel loved and important
2.2    to maintain a structured learning environment where students feel free to actively discover God’s world
2.3    to provide meaningful activities that both uncover and nurture the various gifts and abilities that God has given to each student
 
  1. To increase student’s awareness and understanding of themselves as image bearers of God and encourage growth in their relationship with him.
3.1    to help students understand the marvelous ways in which they have been created
3.2    to help students recognize God’s continual grace in their lives by teaching and demonstrating God’s love for them
3.3    to provide meaningful devotional opportunities for all students
 
 
  1. To prepare students for a life of service and leadership in their home, in their church, at their work, and in their community.
4.1    to encourage positive characteristics of love and respect for themselves and others, encouraging an attitude of servant leadership towards all people
4.2    to provide opportunities where students can learn to relate to people of varying age groups and experiences
4.3    to interact with the community through appropriate service projects
4.4    to provide opportunities where students can demonstrate their love of creation
 
  1. To model the goals that we as parents, teachers, and supporters of Christian education, have for our students.
5.1    to reflect God’s love for us to each student, providing a consistent message between home, church school and community
5.2    to provide opportunities within the school setting, where parents and friends of Christian education can use their gifts in various activities
5.3    to provide good stewardship of our time and of our financial resources
