ACS generally will host no more than four children of a particular culture in each classroom at one time

Students must have no less than average learning ability and no serious health concerns
-
ACS will integrate international students into regular classes for approximately 80% each day

Where needed by international students, ACS will prepare alternate academic programs for use within each classroom

ACS will provide a Teaching Assistant for 1-2 hours per day to assist the international students in their academic courses and English proficiency

Extra-curricular group tutoring in English proficiency will be provided for one hour per week

ACS will encourage participation of international students in school club, sport, and music activities
- Ensure the children's needs are being met

Connect with Korean children, parents and the ISC, one to two times per week, or as needed
- ACS will provide an International Student Coordinator to
- provide information to students, staff and parents on issues unique to international students

organize home stays for international students

correspond with international parents or agencies

arrange for medical insurance for duration of stay

arrange for (bi-weekly informal) academic and home progress reports to parents, (with formal report card at leaving)

maintain information files (photos, etc.) on home stay families
